Rise & Shine App
User Flow
As part of a second-year UX/UI course, this project challenged us to transform an existing paper breakfast menu from a hotel into a fully functional mobile application. The brief focused on translating static, offline content into a digital experience—reimagining the menu from the ground up while identifying the key features and interactions an app-based solution should provide.
The core objective was to explore how information hierarchy, user flows, and interaction design can enhance usability compared to a traditional printed menu. Starting from the constraints of the original material, I designed an app that simplifies decision-making, improves clarity, and supports a smooth ordering experience.
Visually and conceptually, I chose to style the app as a marketplace. This approach allows users to browse, select, and customize their breakfast choices intuitively, emphasizing freedom of choice and discovery. The marketplace structure helps break down the menu into clear categories, making it easier for users to navigate options, compare items, and create their ideal meal.
