Hanami Festival

Web Design

This project is a dynamic ticketing and information website designed for cultural festivals in Japan, with a primary focus on the Hanami Festival (flower-viewing season). The platform allows users to purchase tickets online, explore the festival lineup, and access all essential event information in a clear and intuitive way.

Designed entirely from scratch, the website prioritizes usability, accessibility, and content clarity. Every element from structure and layout to visual language and interaction was carefully considered to ensure users can quickly find what they need, whether planning their visit or browsing festival details.

A key feature of the project is its flexible, dynamic system. The website is built to adapt seamlessly between different festivals, allowing content, visuals, and branding to shift while maintaining a consistent user experience. As demonstrated in the project, the same framework supports other events such as the Shingen-ko Festival, showcasing the scalability and modularity of the design.

Overall, the project explores how cultural storytelling, dynamic content, and user-centered design can come together to create an engaging and functional digital experience for festival audiences.
